If more than half of the kids in our local schools can’t afford lunch, it’s unlikely that their families can afford school supplies. Having school supplies is vital to a child’s educational success, yet thousands of children arrive at our local classrooms each day without the necessary tools for learning.
While the situation may seem grim, we are proud to share with you a way that United Way of Coffee and Moore counties is becoming part of the solution – and how YOU can help!
United Way of Coffee and Moore Counties will be hosting the Live United School Supply Drive from now until July 24. We will be supporting children in need by providing school supplies for the upcoming academic year. The Live United School Supply Drive program provides disadvantaged children in all school systems under our service area with the tools they need for learning. When a child receives supplies from United Way, they are able to engage in school and succeed.

Hi I’ve been trying to find out where and when the kids can get the school supplies for starting school next week I’ve looked all over the internet and this was the first website that I’ve seen about the school supplies drive if someone can contact me I’d greatly appreciate it i have an eight yr old son and my 5 yr old niece that I have custody of my son is starting third grade and my niece is starting kindergarten if we are still able to get help with the school supplies that would be amazing money is tight in our house my son has autism and the medical bills alone each month breaks us so this would help us more than u know so pls contact me at 931 (313-5282) thank u kellsey mueller
